The name Lobi originates from two Lobiri words: lou (forest) and bi (children), meaning literally, “children of the forest” who settled initially on the left bank of the Mouhoun River or the Black Volta dividing Burkina Faso and Ghana.
Used in the family compounds of the Lobi and other related subgroups, the shape of the stool sometimes suggests zoomorphic imagery. Though low, sitting on the stool is surprisingly comfortable. Used at mealtime, and in the home to perform daily tasks.

Our policy is valid for 30 days. Unfortunately, if 30 days have passed after you bought your item, we will not be able to offer you a return or exchange.
